🧪 Now Test the Back Button!
Instructions for mobile testing:
- Press the browser back button once - Should go to Contact page
- Press back again - Should go to About page
- Press back again - Should go to Blog page
- Press back again - Should go to Home page
- Press back one more time - Should exit to previous site/new tab (this is expected)
✅ Success Criteria:
- Back button navigates through the pages in reverse order
- You don't get kicked out of the site until the very end
- Each back navigation happens smoothly with ClientRouter
❌ Failure (Old Behavior):
- First back button press exits the site entirely
- No smooth navigation between pages
Additional Test:
You can also test forward navigation after going back, or navigate to different pages and test various back/forward patterns!
Test Results
After testing, you should observe that the mobile back button now works correctly for sites accessed via direct URL entry, thanks to our fix in the Astro ClientRouter.
